What to consider when choosing a trade show
Ok, so this is a pretty long list. Not sure which event best fits your expertise or area of interest? To help you narrow things down, this section includes four things to consider when selecting a show (or shows) to attend in 2024.
- Scope. Does the conference cover the specific aspects of logistics you're interested in? Some trade shows focus on specific niches within logistics, so make sure the shows you attend align with your business and personal goals.
- Exhibitors and speakers. Check out the list of exhibitors and speakers. Are there industry leaders or companies you've been wanting to connect with? A trade show with influential players can offer great networking opportunities.
- Location. Is it feasible for you to travel to the trade show location? Consider the costs and time involved in attending.
- Format. Think about the format of the trade show. Is it more conference-oriented with seminars and presentations, or is it heavily based on exhibitions and product showcases? Choose a format that aligns with your preferred style of learning and networking.
